So I've found out that the IBM server that interfaces all the printers, users, and whatnot is v5.4. The Windows 7 client is 6.1. Does the server have to be the same version as the Windows 7 in order for the print dialog box to come up? If so, that would actually make a LOT of sense and explain pretty much everything. I also found out that I have Windows 8 users with IBM Access as well, which means they are likely using 7.1.
Can someone confirm whether or not the server version of IBM must match the latest required client versions?
If so, that would mean that I have to upgrade the server from 5.4 to 7.1.
