Print from file inside IBM Access 6.1 with Windows 7

The solution was to set up a local port on the printer to the location we wanted followed by the file we wanted generated. So instead of having the FILE type of port, we created a port, for example, to S:\checkprint.txt - doing it this way, it automatically puts the data in a text file with that name automatically without requiring the Print to File dialog box to come up.

The check then automatically prints without an issue. We have tested it on XP, Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 8.1. They all work without a hitch.
